Your story has touched my heart. I just LOVED it. Connections, big or small, have purpose. It's so great when you can recognize them and be grateful for them. This is why you can never judge someone's art just by looking at it. Always know there is a story behind it. One that is personal and meaningful.

I’m so delighted to hear that, Kurt. My only regret is that I don’t have a bottle with a memory of you. You just know that I would have turned you into a Nespresso pod fish! 🤣. But I have a lifetime of memories with you in other ways and I’m sure it will come out in my art one way or another.

"Friends, crows, plants, and labyrinths. Connection everywhere." Oh my goodness, Carolyn, so many of my favorite things in one place! Wonderful post.

I noticed your mention of crows in a post (or note?) the other day and smiled to myself. I didn’t know that you were also into labyrinths and that’s lovely to hear. I guess this connection I feel to you as a complete stranger has some inner energy to it. Resonating vibes need to be trusted. 🙂❤️

It feels like many of us mystical creative souls are finding each other. And that’s a great thing✨

Wow! Great story, great story telling. You’ve inspired me!

For your wonderful fish..

If you’d like to make the fish flatter & not so round so that friends can easily hang it in a home window, put it in a kiln for a spell. It melts flat. You may have seen these as a cheese board in stores. And keep the cork, you can write the date the wine was consumed and who drank it & where - on the cork.

Best, Trish

Thank you so much, Trish! I’m delighted to hear that you liked the post and it’s inspiring you. And wow, wow, wow, I had no idea that one could do that to bottles. I can hardly wait to see what ideas I get for future installations now knowing this. Of course, I would still need to find someone with a kiln, but I suspect that will be easy to find. First, I’ll finish this school of fish installation knowing I have your idea in my pocket for the next. Thanks so much!
